Posted By:Toast

The new URL for this website is http://mcmlinks.ocscottie.com

I will try to update this more often, as it has been a bit sluggish lately.

Lastly, i'd like the thank scottie for keeping it around. It has been a cornerstone in the MCM community for so long, and its really great of you to keep it. Thanks again.

MX Unleashed

Posted By:Toast

MX Unleashed was finally released this weekend. I couldnt help but get a copy, and I must say, I was impressed. I didnt think the game would be very fun to play, considering there is no online capability, user-made tracks, or bike/rider skin customization. I was wrong. The game, so far, is extremely fun, and addictive. I put in over 100 straight laps on one of the first tracks you get.

If you have some spare money laying around, and find yourself bored, (and have an Xbox/PS2) you should go pick up a copy. I think it was $39 at Circuit City, and Best Buy. Check it out!

New Beta Site On The Block

Posted By:Toast

www.BetaBeez.com has opened its doors, and is all ready for those grungy beta's to be tested out by everyone! This site will hopefully help all track makers, from beginners, to old-geezer Veterans. This site includes some pretty cool extra's, one of which lets you password protect your track, so only people that you want to be able to download it, can.

When you get a chance, you definately should check out the site, and while you're there, you might as well sign up for the forums too!

DMXS Show Line Up for 7-16-03

Posted By:OCR_Dirtfool

DMXS Live Every Wednesday night 9pm est. @ www.dmxsradio.com

Call in at 770.941.3645

Rewind:
This was a weird show as for some reason all of our guests fell through so we had to scrape the barrel with Jason Weigandt of Racer X who gave us a race report from Red Bud. We also had Carter Myers on who won several mains up at the AMA Progressive Grand National Amateur Dirt Track Championships held in Springfield Illinois. Shane from www.fuelclothing.com checked in with us and Steve Bauer talked about their new race facility and what seems to be another Des Nations that will go down with the U.S. on the sidelines. Thanks to our sponsors Accent Window Treatments in Southern California and www.xprdesigns.com

Tonight:
We are all jammed up with guests as well get out of the gate early with some commentary from Davey Coombs who was out at Laguna Seca to cover some dirt and asphalt racing better known as SuperMotard. We also want to get some insight into what seems like a resurgence of interest by our sport to send our guys to the Des Nations so we'll get Davey's take on the fledgling race. Also in the mix will be the Icon himself David Bailey who has some racing of his own to discuss as well as the last round of the nationals. Kenny Bartram will be grounded during our show so we'll catch up with the dirtbike wrangler who does it well on his extreme ramp cycle. Duane Brown is amazing with his hands and he has this little company called BBR and we'll see what's on the horizon with the boys from Seattle.

Power to the geeks,
Kevin, Joey, and David

We can't do this show without these sponsors....PERIOD

Tonight on DMXS

Posted By:OCR_Dirtfool

Wednesday's starting line up:

Kevin had the chance to announce the AMA Progressive Grand National Amateur Dirt Track races in Springfield Illinois so we'll get a report from him and also some calls from some of the top amateurs that did battle on the Mile, Short Track, TT, and the Half Mile. We are also working on getting Jay Springstein on the program if we can track down the dirt tracker who's on his farewell tour this year. Check these guys out when they come to a town near you. Also on the program will be Freestyle fighter pilots Nate Adams and Kenny Bartram who dance most excellent on their bikes. Frank Hoppen shoots some of the most amazing photos in all of motorsports so we'll get him on to tell us all of his award winning secrets and some of the other interesting things he's seen thru his lens. Jason Weigandt doesn't know it but he's going to be on the show giving us his race report from Red Bud so somebody tell him since Racer X's site and phones are down due to a direct lightning strike. Who knows who else will call in so just sit back, relax, pop open your favorite beverage and with DMXS for a while

We want your calls so ring us up at the studio at 770.941.3645 during the show!

We also have a chat room that goes live so hit the forums, look up and to the right where you'll see chat and enter purgatory.

RFJ Zones Future

Posted By:OCR_ocicide

A lot of rumors have been going around about the future of RFJ zone. Here is the scoop from RFJ_His_Son himself:

"Twice now the site has been hacked, both times doing massive damage. There is no way that any casual hacker was able to do this, and all the current security measures are in place. One of the 2 hard drives has now failed as well, since one of the hacks was causing it to 'thrash'

Assuming that the data can be retrieved from the dead hard drive, then the site will be back in the next day or 2. Hope that stops the rumours and such anyway."
